Social Networks such as Digg, StumbleUpon and Reddit can give your website MILLIONS of visitors!

Is there a market for this? You bet! In fact, a guy charges $1,200 to get your story on front page and he doesn’t even make any promises! There is also SocialElves, a sponsor of ours, that charges $300 and promises 200 Diggs. But even $300 may be a lot of money to put down for some people. That is why it is important to use all the free resources at your disposal to beat these social bookmarking giants yourself.

1. Networking
Social bookmarking websites are of the people, by the people, for the people, and shall be abused by those same people. Go out and meet people that use social bookmarking sites. Considering the size of them, it shouldn’t be too hard. Go to forums, friends, and… the actual websites themselves! Most like Digg give users the opportunity to list their instant messenger information.

Here’s your first contact - me!

AIM: melensupport
MSN: mmelen2k[at]yahoo.com
Email: mike[at]melen.net

I won’t vote for any garbage articles, but when in doubt, send them to me anyway! And I would expect the same for you. Now you just need about 100 more contacts and you can get on top of any social bookmarking website you wish!

2. Communities and Automated Systems
- http://www.digg4free.com offers you one free Digg. All you need to do is enter the Digg URL and their website does the rest!

- http://piqqus.com is an automated social trading system. They currently support Digg, StumbleUpon, and Propeller. You build up credits by voting for others stories and you get the favor returned.

- http://firestormforum.com is a forum for social trading. You can exchange anything from Blogging Zoom to Entrecards to Comments.

3. Beg For Votes!

When desperate, you can always beg for votes! And DIGG IT!

In all seriousness, there is a lot of potential in social bookmarking. You need to build connections and probably more importantly, have good content to promote. There are dozens of groups and other resources out there just a Google away.
